Since 1995, the McCaskey Alumni Association honors five alumni annually with the Distinguished Alumni Award.
These recipients have achieved a level of stature that the students of SDOL will want to emulate. The recipients of this award will be honored during the day at a school assembly and during the evening with a banquet attended by past recipients, District personnel, fellow graduates, and interested members of our community. This year's Distinguished Alumni recipients are: Brenda Green Becker '70, Nicholas Veronis '78, Nitin Tanna '81, Christopher Echterling '84, and Jose Alejandro Rosado, Jr. '91.

This will be the 2nd Annual Alumni Basketball Game sponsored by the Alumni Association. The evening features two games -- a women's game and a men's game. All former McCaskey basketball players as well as all current McCaskey senior basketball players are invited to play in the games. This is a fundraising event for the Alumni Association.
Are You Smarter than a SDOL 5th Grader – April 27, 2012, 7:00 pm

This is the third year for our fundraising event sponsored by the Lancaster Foundation for Educational Enrichment (LFEE) and the McCaskey Alumni Association. The game is patterned after the popular television show and features our own School District of Lancaster 5th Graders against five well known, local leaders in a light-hearted evening filled with laughs and unexpected surprises. This "Are You Smarter" event will support the 11,000 students of the SDOL through the work of LFEE and the Alumni Association.
